The majority of his work experience has been in the fields of higher education, health care, and the non-profit sector. He specializes in strategic planning, executive coaching, team building, and leadership development.

Dr. Hewitt’s extensive experience and education enables him to customize his work to accommodate clients’ unique needs.

His rich work experience has included stints at the University of California, Board of Regents of the State University System of Florida, Florida A&M University, American Hospital Association, Miami Valley Hospital and the Akron Urban League.

He received his Ph.D, in Higher Education with an emphasis in Educational Leadership, as well as a minor in Adult Education from Florida State University. Dr. Hewitt also holds Masters degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Health and Hospital Administration as well as in Rehabilitation Counseling from Kent State University.

Dr. Hewitt lectures in the Graduate Program of Industrial Psychology at San Jose State University and the School of Extended Education at Saint Mary’s College of California. He’s also President of the National Association of Health Services Executives, Golden State Chapter of Northern California.  Our latest publications and certifications
